Jis de dil nirankar da vasa jag na jhootha kar sakke; Kamal rahe jyon jal de andar jal na jootha kar sakke. Jis de man di jot jagi ey dil usda bedag rahe; Duniyan de vich vasda rasda duniyan ton belag rahe. Jis de dil vich ikko vasya sabh nun vekhe ik nigah; Sant charan di dhoorhi chho ke mangta vi ho jandai shah. Jis de dil nirankar da vasa hunda nahin oh besabar; Kahe avtar har haal de andar karda rab da shukar shukar. |

The one in whose heart is the Formless One-Nirankar dwells, cannot be proved wrong by the world; Just as the lotus stands in the water, but the water cannot defile it. The one whose mind is enlightened, his heart remains free from blemish; While living and enjoying in this world he remains detached from it. The one in whose heart God dwells, beholds everyone with the same eye; By applying the dust of the holy feet of True Saint, even a beggar becomes a king. The one in whose heart the Formless One-Nirankar dwells is never impatient; Avtar says, he is ever grateful to God under all circumstances. |
